Proper storage of your wines is important.
SV 124 B is equipped as standard with internal LED light, wooden pull-out shelves, digital display, control panel for each zone, UV protection and vibration-damping compressor.
In addition to the functional features, we have also thought about the design of the cabinet.
The design is simple and stylish and therefore fits into most homes.
Temperature:
Keep a constant temperature on your wine throughout the year. It is less important whether the wine is at 8 degrees or 18 degrees - as long as it is without the large and rapid fluctuations.
We recommend a place in the middle as the optimal temperature. If you store your wine too cold, the wine develops very slowly, and if it is stored in a too hot environment, the wine develops too quickly.
With adjustable temperatures, the SV 124 is suitable for storing any wine.
Humidity:
The storage location of the wine should preferably have a humidity of between 60% and 75%. If the humidity is less than 50%, there is a risk that the cork plugs will dry out. A humidity of more than 80% will not change the wine, but the labels may be damaged. In order for the cork to be airtight, it must be moist. Therefore, it is important that the wine bottle is always stored lying down so that the cork is in contact with the wine.
Protection:
Wine should be stored in the dark. The consequence of too much light, especially neon light, can be a faster maturation of the wine than usual, as the light initiates an oxidation.
Vibrations:
Vibrations are not good for your wine. Young wines can usually do well after transport and "heal" themselves. In contrast, mature wines are far more fragile and have a greater risk of changing character. Therefore, it is important that your storage location is protected from vibration.
